Sometimes when you try to enter the panel you land on a screen with consent checkboxes instead of the home page. This is not a bug: a document is waiting that legally needs your recorded consent. This article explains the two versions of that screen, which box is required, and where your consent records live.
When the screen appears
It comes up in two situations.
First-time consent. If you signed up with Facebook or Google, you never saw the consent boxes on the sign-up form. The panel asks for them on your first sign-in, and the screen is headed One last step.
Renewed consent. When a new version of one of the agreements is published and consent is requested again, the screen returns. This time the heading is and the documents that are waiting are listed at the top. Click a list item to read the document in a new tab.
Our agreements have been updated
While a document is waiting for consent you cannot go anywhere else in the panel. The moment you accept, you return to where you were headed: to the invitation if you came from an invitation link, or to the home page on a normal sign-in.
⚠️ Note: This screen only covers the agreements tied to your user account. The Data Processing Agreement, which lets us process your customers' personal data on your behalf, is separate and is asked when you create a portfolio.
What is on the screen
The screen is a single card with three parts.
I have read and accept the terms of service — the required checkbox. You cannot continue without ticking it. The link inside the sentence opens the document in a new tab.
KVKK notice and privacy policy — not a checkbox, an informational sentence. It carries two links explaining how your personal data is processed. It appears only in first-time consent.
I would like to receive news and offers by email and SMS — an optional checkbox. This is the commercial message consent; it is never pre-ticked and can be withdrawn at any time. This too appears only in first-time consent.
At the bottom sits the Accept and continue button.
In renewed consent you see only the terms checkbox and the list of pending documents; marketing consent is not asked again, because you either gave it once or you did not.
How to get through it
Read the listed documents. The links open in a new tab, so you do not have to leave the session.
Tick I have read and accept the terms of service.
If you want commercial messages, tick that box too. If not, leave it empty — it does not stop you from using your account.
Press Accept and continue.
Your consent is recorded with its date, the version number of the document and the context in which it was given.
💡 Do not try to close the screen and slip past it; the same screen returns on your next sign-in. You are free not to consent, but the panel does not open without it.
Which documents exist and what each covers
The panel carries several legal documents, and they do not all ask for consent at the same time. In short:
Terms of service — the conditions under which you use the service. Consent is required, and this is the document the consent screen asks about.
KVKK notice — why your personal data is processed, for how long and with what rights. It informs; it does not ask for consent.
Privacy policy — where collected data is kept, who it is shared with and how it is protected.
Commercial electronic message consent — for campaign emails and SMS. Optional, never pre-ticked.
Data Processing Agreement — for us to process your customers' data on your behalf. This one is asked not on the consent screen but when you create a portfolio.
Cookie policy — the cookies kept in your browser. Your cookie preference is collected in its own dialog.
Cancellation and refunds and Data deletion — these relate to purchases and account deletion, and appear on the relevant screen.
When a new version of a document is published, consent is not requested again for all of them. Only the documents for which renewed consent was requested appear in the list on screen; you can read the new version of the others whenever you like.
Where to see your consents
Every consent you have given sits in My user settings › My agreements. There you will find:
The Commercial electronic message card: whether consent is on or off, with a single Withdraw consent or Give consent button.
The Consent history table: document name, action (Accepted, Informed, Declined, Withdrawn), version and date.
A View link on each row that opens that exact version of the document.
The screen where consent was given is recorded too: Sign-up, Social sign-up, Renewed consent, My user settings, Portfolio setup, Checkout, Cookie preference or Sign-up from invitation. This record is the only reliable answer to "when did I accept this?".
Common situations
The screen appears on every sign-in. The page may have closed before the consent was saved. After ticking the box and pressing Accept and continue, watch for the screen to change; if it does not, refresh and try again.
The document link opens a blank-looking page. If the document does not exist in your language yet, the panel shows the binding version and says so at the top of the page. What you read is the text in force.
I ticked the marketing box by mistake. Go to My user settings › My agreements and press Withdraw consent. The withdrawal is recorded in the history as well.
My teammate does not see the same screen. Consents are personal. Everyone consents separately for their own user account; yours does not cover your team.
Once the agreements are accepted, the next step is setup: creating your portfolio and connecting your first account. If you get stuck on the consent screen, contact our support team.
