Your plan credits ran out mid-month and you do not want to upgrade. That is what the Credits tab is for: you buy a one-off pack, credits join your pool, and your plan and period do not change at all. This guide covers every row on the tab and the purchase steps.
⚠️ Buying extra credits requires the Billing details tab to be filled in. To learn what a credit is and what spends how much, see .
Extra credits solve the month where your allowance did not stretch: a campaign that blew up your message volume, a new AI flow you just published, an image-generating step you are trying out.
If your credits run out every single month, upgrading is usually cheaper than buying packs; a higher plan's monthly credits renew every month, while a pack is consumed once.
Which pack should you buy
Size the pack by your burn rate, not by the days left. A simple calculation is enough:
Read how many credits you have spent so far from the This month row on the Plan tab.
Divide that by the number of days elapsed in the month; that is your daily average.
Work out how many days remain until your credits renew, from the renewal date on the Plan tab.
Multiply the daily average by the days remaining.
For example: it is the 12th, the This month row reads 1,800 credits and your credits renew in 18 days. Your daily average is 150 credits, so the remaining 18 days need roughly 2,700. A 3,000-credit pack is comfortable there; a 1,000-credit pack will not see out the month.
If a campaign, a sale day or a new AI flow going live is on the horizon, add a margin to that estimate: when message volume rises, credit consumption rises with it.
Opening the Credits tab
Open My user settings › Plan and invoices.
Tap the Credits tab.
A block titled Extra AI credits appears at the top, with two rows under it:
Extra credits left — the credits waiting in your pool, which never expire.
This month — your total usage this month and the month's full allowance.
Below the block, the packs on sale are listed as cards.
The link in the "AI credits running low" email you get when credits drop also opens this tab directly.
Buying a pack
Each pack card carries three things: how many credits it holds (for example 5,000 AI credits), its price, and a VAT included or VAT excluded note under the price. The Buy button on the card opens the checkout screen.
Tap Buy on the pack closest to what you need.
The screen that opens is titled Buy extra credits. If you can pay in more than one currency, a currency strip appears at the top.
Check the details in the Billing details block; tap Edit if anything is wrong.
Read the line in What happens next?: "{credits} credits are added to your balance when the payment is confirmed. Extra credits never expire and are used after your plan credits run out."
Confirm the Pack price, VAT and Total rows in the Order summary box.
Choose a Payment method.
Tick I want the service to start immediately… and the required agreements.
Press Place order · {total} and complete the payment.
There is no discount code box on pack orders; codes apply to plan orders only.
After you buy
The credits join your pool the moment the payment is confirmed. The only thing that changes is your balance:
The Extra credits left row on the Credits tab goes up.
The Extra credits row on the Plan tab shows the new value.
Your plan, billing period, period dates and renewal amount do not change.
A new row joins the Orders list; the pack's credit count appears under the order number.
You can buy several packs in the same month; the credits add up. Extra credits are only spent once that month's plan credits are gone, so do not expect your balance to start dropping the day you buy.
💡 Tip: When sizing a pack, look at your burn rate rather than at the days left in the month. The rows on Portfolio settings › Usage show which flow spends what, and that is the most accurate basis for the estimate.
If the tab or the packs are missing
The reason depends on what the screen tells you:
No Credits tab at all. Your current plan does not cover AI. The fix is not a pack but a plan that includes AI.
"Buying extra credits is not available on your plan." Your plan covers AI, but extra credit sales are not open on it. You need to upgrade.
"Your plan has unlimited AI credits, so you don't need extra credits." You already have an unlimited allowance; extra credits would never be used, so they are not sold.
"No credit packs are available right now." Your plan is eligible but no active pack is on sale. Let our Support team know.
Even if you know the address, the checkout screen does not open in these cases; it sends you back to the Credits tab and states the reason.
Limits
Extra credits are not refundable or transferable. Unused credits cannot be moved to another user.
A pack's price depends on the currency. A pack may not have a price in every currency; the card only appears in a currency where a price has been entered.
A pack order's total cannot be zero. That is why the payment step always opens for pack orders.
A credit order does not change your plan, but the agreements you accept on it name your current plan.
If you move to a plan with unlimited credits, the extra credits you hold are not used; they do not expire, they wait.
